Ray Johnson was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Count of Queensland in 1976. He became Managing Partner of the Brisbane Office of Johnsons in 1980. He now practises from Johnsons Solicitors & Attorneys Gold Coast. Ray has successfully practised in a range of areas and has extensive experience in the fields of commercial and property law as well as wills and estates. Throughout his years of practice Ray has formed many notable connections becoming well-renowned in his areas of practice. Timothy Hsieh | Director
Tim Hsieh was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2014 graduating from Bond University and has been a registered Migration Agent since 2014. Tim as a Director of Johnsons Solicitors and Attorneys has grown an extensive international and domestic clientele since joining the firm. Tim has successfully represented both international and domestic clients in commercial and property development matters. In addition, Tim has extensive experience in civil litigation and migration matters. Tim’s clients remark on his approachable and personal service. Tim has earned a reputation for precision and excellence within his areas of law. Tim has the added advantage of being fluent in both Mandarin and Taiwanese.
Lawrence Kong | Solicitor
Lawrence Kong was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Count of Queensland in 2017 after graduating from the Queensland University of Technology. Although newly-admitted, Lawrence has wide experience in both commercial litigation due to his part-time work in a large litigation firm, whilst undertaking his law degree. Lawrence also has experience in handling commercial, property and wills & estate matters. Due to Lawrence’s impressive knowledge in these areas of law, he has dealt exclusively with the firm’s largest clients. Lawrence has the advantage of being fluent with both Mandarin and Cantonese.
Jeffrey Johnson | Solicitor
Jeff Johnson was admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1969. Since that time he has practised successfully in a wide range of areas of law including commercial property development and all areas of business and financial law, as well as commercial and civil litigation. In addition to his local clientele he has provided a range of consulting services to organisations from the U.S.A., Japan and the Asia Pacific Rim. In litigation matters he has appeared successfully (without counsel) on many occasions. He has also completed the Mediation Skills Training Certificate at QUT. He was a Senior Partner in a large legal firm in Brisbane before setting up practice in Brisbane in 1980 and then moving to the Gold Coast. Now retired, he still assists the Practice as a Consultant with complex litigation matters as required.
Sharyn Russell | Conveyancer & Personal Assistant to Ray Johnson
Sharyn has been with the firm for over 20 years as both personal assistant to the Principal and the firm’s conveyancer. Sharyn has extensive experience and knowledge in all conveyancing matters. Due to her dedicated, approachable and efficient work ethic, Sharyn has grown a large number of loyal clientele. With Sharyn you will receive very professional and personal attention. Sharyn endeavours to provide a positive experience to her clients in what many consider is a very stressful time in their lives. Aside from conveyancing, Sharyn assists Ray with Wills & Estate matters as well as large commercial dealings.
Elesa Taylor | Practice Manager
Elesa has been with the firm for almost 20 years as office manager after entering the legal industry a number of years earlier. Due to her extensive experience in legal practice, office management, accounting and administration, Elesa oversees the day to day operations of the firm.
Flora Chai | Receptionist/Conveyancing Assistant
Flora has a number of years experience in both accounts and conveyancing matters. She graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Accounting. As a result, Flora has become our client’s first point of contact and assists autonomously on all of Tim’s conveyancing matters. Flora is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Neha Gangaram | Receptionist/Legal and Administration Assistant
Neha has recently joined the firm and works part-time whilst completing a Bachelor of Law and International Business at Griffith University.
